GenX Router API Terms
Keep your API keys secret, pay per request in credits, and take responsibility for your application and its users. You keep your input rights and receive any rights we have in outputs. We do not train on your content. Output files are kept for 90 days and uploads for 7 days.
1.Scope
These API Terms apply when you use the GenX Router API at query.genx.sh, its developer dashboard at genx.sh, and the related documentation (the "API"). They add to the Terms of Service; if the two conflict about the API, these API Terms control. Purchases follow the Sales Terms.
"Your Application" is any product, service or workflow you build with the API. "End Users" are people or organizations who use Your Application.
2.API keys and access
Create API keys in your developer dashboard. Keep them secret: do not put them in client-side code, public repositories or apps distributed to End Users, and do not expose the API directly to End Users. You are responsible for all usage and charges under your keys. Rotate or revoke a key immediately if you think it has been exposed, and tell us at support@genx.pro.
3.Pricing, billing and limits
API usage is charged per request in credits from your GenX Pro wallet, at the prices shown in the API model catalog when the request is made. Requests may be refused when your balance is too low. We may apply rate limits, concurrency limits and request-size limits, and may change them to protect the service.
4.Models
The API gives access to models operated by GenX Pro and by third-party providers listed on our Subprocessors page. The content of each request is sent to the provider of the model you call, only to produce the result. Providers' own usage policies and restrictions apply to their models. Models, options and prices can change; we may add, update or retire models, and we will try to give reasonable notice before retiring a model or making a breaking change to the API.
5.Your content and data
You keep your existing rights in the content you send to the API, and we assign to you any rights we have in its outputs, as described in the Terms of Service. We do not use your API inputs or outputs to train AI models.
We keep API data only as long as needed to provide the API:
- Generated output files are available for 90 days, then deleted. Download and store anything you need to keep.
- Files you upload for use in requests are deleted from our storage 7 days after upload. A copy sent to a model provider for a request is handled under that provider's terms.
- Job records and sessions are kept while your account is active. Ask us at support@genx.pro to delete them sooner.
If you process End Users' personal data through the API, our Data Processing Addendum applies. You may be the controller or a processor for your own customer, depending on how Your Application uses that data.
6.Your Application and End Users
- You are responsible for Your Application, its End Users and their use of the API, as if it were your own use.
- Your terms must require End Users to follow rules at least as protective as our Acceptable Use Policy, and you must enforce those rules. Your privacy notice must accurately explain your use of personal data, including processing through GenX Pro, and you must obtain the permissions the law requires.
- You must apply the age, consent and safety controls that Your Application and the law require, and act promptly on abuse.
- You must not present Your Application as being made, endorsed or operated by GenX Pro or by a model provider.
- You may resell access to models only as part of Your Application, and not as a bare API, key-sharing or proxy service.
7.Webhooks
If you configure webhooks, we send job results to the URL you choose. You are responsible for securing that endpoint and verifying that requests come from us.
8.Availability
We work to keep the API reliable, but it is provided without a service level agreement, and provider outages can affect it. Failed requests are not charged, or are refunded to your wallet, as described in the API documentation.
9.Suspension and indemnity
We may suspend API keys or access immediately to stop abuse, security threats, unpaid usage or violations of these API Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. You will defend and indemnify GenX Pro, as described in the Terms of Service, against claims arising from Your Application or your End Users.
